Privacy policy

What we collect

From distributors who list a business: business name, GST number, GST certificate or business proof, optional brand authorisation letters, contact person, mobile number, email, address, city, state, and the brands, categories, roles and start years you enter.

From people who send an enquiry: name, company, email, optional phone, and your message.

What is public

Only the business name, city, state, year of establishment, website (if given), and the brand details on the profile. Phone numbers, email addresses, GST numbers and uploaded documents are never shown publicly.

Where it is stored

On our own web hosting account. We do not send this information to other databases or file-storage services. Documents are kept in a private folder that cannot be opened from the web, and are opened only by our administrator.

How we use it

To review and verify listings, to contact the brands named in a listing so they can confirm it, to pass enquiries to distributors, and to run and secure the site.

Sharing

We may contact a brand to confirm a distributor. We email an enquiry (name, company, email, phone if given, message) directly to the distributor it is addressed to, and keep a copy. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and removal

You can ask us to correct or delete your listing and documents at any time by emailing admin@findyourdistributor.com.

Cookies

The public site sets no tracking cookies. The administrator page uses one session cookie.
